Get Lost inThailand, Bangkok Day 02

The 2nd day being here, the enthusiasm still never fade. We woke up late the next morning. I forgot that we were here. The hotel room was just too comfortable for me. That bed! Gwar, pls bring it home for me! Luckily we got to get some breakfast. Imagine this, it was just 9 but then most of the stalls were closed.
Yau Char Kwai and soya bean for breakfast. It was cold outside. Weather change, but my appetite just started. So, back off course I'm here to have a food explore. Yesh. The soya bean was nice. I demanded for soya bean curd but I was told that there's no more sugar syrup for it. That's the punishment for not waking up early for breakfast. You want to sleep more, so it's for sure you will lose out something. What a great punishment! The breakfast looked normal and it's definitely easy to get in M'sia. But, the soya bean here was just different. They uses brown sugar while M'sia uses white sugar syrup. So it tasted different. And, I love it. I told my mom that I wanna come here for breakfast the next day. And, it meant that I gotta wake up earlier for a good breakfast the next morning. The yau char kwai just tasted normal. But then, it's just tasted different when I dipped it into the soya bean. Yum!

Okay, I look like a monster here! Well captured sis! Well done:/

We headed to the Gem's Gallery. Gem stones are famous in Thailand. So it was recommended by our taxi driver to have a visit there before we head to our next destination. I literally got excited about it. (Okay, I was excited for the whole trip. Forgive me) Those staff there were so kind and they got each of us a drink before we tour the making and also the production of those gem stones. My sis, mom and I bought fresh water pearl earrings for ourselves. Hmm, first pearl on my ear before 20, checked!

My momma

Okay, I drank that Orange Fanta as if I was drinking beer.

Next destination, MBK. It is the largest shopping mall in town. We wandered around once we were there. Wei yee bought papaya salad on one of the hawker stall. I don't really fancy it. It was spicy and sour. It supposed to be like this, just that it's not my fav. So, it all went to Wei yee. I wanted to try some other thing. I walked and walked. Okay, there's something caught my eyes- Traditional Dessert. I was so happy when I saw it because there's a traditional Thai dessert I can try. And, dessert means that it will be sweet. Yes, it's sweet and also the same time it's tasteless after having a few bite of it. WHY?! It's just crushed ice with a big date, lotus seed, grass jelly and a spoon of brown sugar on top with some condensed milk. I was like what?! I was not a happy kid after wasting my money to get one of that. Just to ease our thirst, we finished it. Hmm, we walked around in the shopping mall but then we didn't find anything that we liked. So, we were just walking and looking around like nobody's business. I'm so glad that we found a food fair in there. I started to have their samples to try. I ate sushi, dry meat. My mom bought us hot dogs. Their hot dog was a little different from ours. It's delicious btw. Oh ya, there's this one thing I ate twice in Bangkok- mango sticky rice. It's glutinous rice with mango and coconut milk was poured on top. The combination was so amazing. It was supposed to be shared among the 5 of us as we just wanted to have a try of it. But instead, I conquered it at last. Greet the queen here! It was so yummmyyyy! I LOVE IT! And so, others were hungry. We went for Mc'Donalds at last. We all had pork burger. Their fries and coke in there were huge. My sis went and asked for refill. Of course they don't have that. The coke was too much to finish and yet you still want to have refill. What?! The burger was not as nice as the chicken burger that we usually had. So it's a no no no no no non on on o no n for a second try for the pork burger. My mom was right- nothing beats chicken burger. Bwahahahah!

Our next destination- Asiatique. Nothing pretty much, just the lightnings and the we did some shopping there. And of course, food! We sat down at the bench for quite some time- taking photos and also videos.

My sis took photos for the both of us. It was so blur and we finally gave up. We were all hungry AGAIN! It's dinner time. Hooray. My mom and sis looked around for food that was cheap and good. And so, we came to this place. I don't know and also didn't notice the name of the place, but it's in Asiatique (yes, we were still locked up in there) We had these. Take a look below. It's definitely mouth watering!

Cashew nuts with chicken. (top) Green curry with rice. (bottom)

Pad Thai (just a normal fried noodle with two big prawns) :/

Pineapple Fried Rice (left) It was so good, especially the freshly cut pineapple at the side. I love it. Tom Yam Kung (right) It was placed inside the coconut with two big prawns. Yea, prawns again. And I'm so angry because I'm allergic to it. It had coconut flesh, mushrooms in it. Okay, luckily those prawns were placed in something spicy so that I won't have the chance to touch it. Good job. My mom and sis claimed that it was not really good as it was no spicy or sour taste. It's just tasted sweet. Well, I don't know. I don't want to know about it either. Goodbye, prawns!

We were STILL in Asiatique! Not gonna leave here till we buy something.

Pad locks

Okay, I got a little excited over here:/

p/s: weiyee had her nose bleed because her body was too heaty. Of course, eating too much and not drink enough water. Well, she was fine later on. But, my sis and mom got frightened and don't know what to do do when they saw her nose bleed. My bro discovered it at first then me. I was kinda used to it because she told me about her experience before that. And, I'm not really those anti- blood kind of ppl (just that when it comes to donating blood was a big No for me. I still can't get through it) Hmm, despite of her nose bleed part, it was an awesome night being in Asiatique!

Oh yea, we went to the street near our hotel and shop for more stuff. We just didn't had enough the last night. On the 2nd night, me and my sis were finally broke. We left 20 thai batt (rm2) for tomorrow. WHAT A JOKE?!

Get Lost in Thailand, Bangkok Day 01

sorry for the late post. It's like almost a week back from Bangkok, Thailand.
I asked everyone not to be excited for the trip, but in the end I'm the one who got super duper excited the next day. It's not like the first time being on plane or heading to Bangkok, but I just literally got so excited. (perhaps a little nervous too) And, you know me well, my mouth started to open and can't shut for long. Bwahahaha!

This time was a little different from previous trips. I went there with my family and also brought a friend of mine there (highly presented, my childhood friend- Weiyee) Yay! This is her first time being in a plane. So, I kept asking her whether she was excited or not. She told me she was not. I was like, okay. And, I got excited all by myself at a side. What?! We went to KL Central to take the shuttle bus to Low Cost Carrier Terminal (a.k.a LCCT), just to board up to the plane. We reached there kinda early, so definitely was filling up tummy time. We had a simple lunch at some kind of local food restaurant. The food in there was so not good. Hawker stall food is even better than them. Well, I got a plate of fried noodles for myself. And, you know the result. (It sucks!) Gwar! My mouth was burning. And, of course, I drank lots and lots of water to cool down myself. Hmm, it doesn't really help much. My tummy was in flame. So, I thought of getting myself a MCD ice-cream! (for sure its chocotop! Yesh, got an excuse to eat it. My mom got it before having her lunch. So, now its my turn)

Told ya, I was super duper ultra excited!
Nothing much in the plane. I just got very excited and took pictures, videos! Oh ya, I slept and read a book too (Nah, just a few pages. It's enough) It took us almost 2-3 hours in the plane. So, it's like you are having a nap in the plane then you are in a different country. The feeling was..AWWWEESSsssome!

We were in Bangkok, Thailand now! Yesh! The smell and people in another country are definitely the best thing ever! It's true (no joke, man!) Hmm, we took a meter-taxi and headed to the hotel (Ecotel Hotel). Okay, those taxi drivers there was, hmm..so fast! As usual, we checked in and went into our hotel rooms (208 & 210).

So, it dinner time! We had it at the hawker stall (the nearer the better) We sat down and ordered what we wanted, but they did not understand what we want. So, yes, we gotta pointed to them what we want. Well, I google searched the best food to have and added all into my checklist before we went to Bangkok, so that I can try all I can within these 4 days. We had a bowl of duck noodles, a plate of fried rice and a so called vege with meat and rice? I don't know. (Yea, just 3 meals for the 5 of us. Great huh? IM HUNGRY! Now, I rethink back, how can we have the energy to walk. We were just wandering around. And guess what we had found? It was more and more hawker stalls. The further you walked, the more hawker stalls you can get to see. The smell. Gosh! And yes, we found clothes selling on the street. It's really the left side was food, and the right side was clothes. What is better than having all these in front of a girl's eyes? It's like a dream to every girls. So, we shopped! Yea, shopped till we were broke. That's the point of me and my sis bought the air ticket and fly there.

Ying's 19th Birthday

okay, I'm finally back. Since Huey Yee doesn't want to bother me, I shall just blog about what had happened these days. The very first thing was, Ying's 19TH birthday! Horray, you are so close to 20 now. It means that I'm so young and fresh among the both of you. (I'm always the youngest) Yay!
It's supposed to be a surprise birthday, but it was not a good plan. So, it turned out to become a simple celebration for my girl. I hope she felt happy about the whole thing. She supposed to be happy, don't she?

Oh yea, Ying volunteered to fetch me from our primary school. Well, I'm definitely feeling proud of it as I'm the first one who board into her car. She's my one day driver that day. Thanks ying. (your driving skill is way better than Huey yee) Hmm, we had our lunch at Caffeiness that day. I thought we can try something new (food), but then we ended up being in the same place. (well, we shall just try a different meal in the same place this time. It's okay) Ying and I arrived first (its obvious because Im in her car), so for sure we are gonna eat first. (food don't wait for others, right?)
Ying went on her fav order- Baked potato (she just love it so much and I don't understand why) She can just order baked potato no matter where she's dining in. I'm not that hungry, so I went for a  bowl of normal caeser salad with dory fish. I was trying to cut down carbs. Yea, I'm determined in that.No CARBS means No CARBS!
And there went my order caesar salad with dory fish. It taste so good with thousand island. I tried to avoid any dressings and only eat those greens. But, then I just can't stop my hand from taking that cup of thousand island. When it touched the plate of salad and fish fillet, it just make the whole plate look so nice! And yes, it still sound pretty healthy isn't? Better than having burgers, right? Say yessss pls!

Look at that gorgeous baby!

Ying's favourite was here- Baked potato salad with mozerella cheese, I guess (I lost the receipt and for sure I can't really remember what's in it) Kay, what so good about sister's outing was you can share food with the other party. So, it's for sure that I got my own portion of baked potato, just to have a taste of it. Ying claimed that this was the best baked potato apart from the one that we had tried from Fish & Co. Yes, it did taste so well. Everyting was perfectly nice. I love the cheese on top. I love cheese. Yes, I'm so cheesy. It had cauliflower, chunks of potatoes, mushrooms, baby carrots in it. It was just too good.

We had already finished and almost licked on our bowl for the last dip and we were about to go off without meeting her. Bye, Huey yee. But, luckily she called and said she's on her way at the right time.

She scares Ying at the back. Ying got shocked. It's actually a hint for her when I'm talking with her. I laughed so loud when I saw Huey Yee was coming towards our table. But, ying didn't notice about it. Well, Ying, pls try to be aware of your surroundings or maybe my body gesture. Bwahahahah! It's funny thou, because ying screamed when Huey yee tapped on her shoulder. Anyway, at least that's a little surprise for Ying's 19th Birthday. Yesh! We did it! Huey Yee joined us and offered us dessert. We definitely said YES! Thats just us. Even we, ourselves can't understand why. She also ordered a cup of hot mocha, chocoalate, cappucino or whatsoever it calls. I got a sip of it, and I pushed away from me. (Coffee is just not my fav, sorry) The cream was too thick, I don't like it. I don't know whether it was supposed to be like that or not. But, I just don't fancy coffee.

Yesh! Waffles with vanilla ice cream! Hmmm, feeling like im in heaven. I love flour. So of course waffles are just one of my fav. Yesh yesh yesh! Well, I ate salad just now, so I think it will not be any harm having 1...2...wafflesSSSsss right? Btw, how can I say no to my lovely Huey yee when she said she want to treat us food. I ordered this thou. (I saw the other table got one of this so I thought of trying it, but then I've ordered that plate of greens so you know) Hmm, it was soooo ssssssooooo goooddd! I love you, waffles with ice cream! I'm so gonna order this next time!

We talked about our lives and laughed all the way. It's so much fun and of course I'm so grateful that you guys are by my side! Love ya'll!

Happy birthday Ying!:) Love you to the moon and back. There are no words for me to express my feeling about how I treasure our friendship. Just here to let you that you are just so important to me. I treasure you! I hope that I can celebrate your b'day for another 20 years? Oh, not enough. Let's make it a hundred! Cheers, ying! Oh well, as what you've said we can finally get drunk. Bwahahaha!!

2014

Its been awhile for me to blog about what's happening these days. (almost a month or so) I kinda miss here. (because when I'm here which means that there's something happen on me or ppl around me which made me felt that my life is kinda awesome, you know?)
Well, its 2014 and everyone knows it. Okay, I had this to-do-list for last year. Basically, some had already done but some doesn't. So, I shall just bring forward to this year. Well, it's like you know, I've gotta complete it kind. For this year, I don't ask much for it. I want it to go without plannings. (sometimes you are too tight up with all ur plans, and you screwed up everything at last) I'm not saying that I have no aims or targets this year, but then I just want it to go naturally. As natural as possible. (p/s: I set different targets every month, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Well, I guess im not motivated enough) So, being motivated is the top thing I gotta have in 2014. Come to mama, pls!
Hmm, just finished my final examination for Semester 2, year 1. I was kinda disappointed and upset about what I've done during my exam. I know I can't blame anyone but myself. I was not that hardworking and I became more and more playful these days. It's like I don't care about anything anymore. And when you slack for one day, you will tend to find an excuse to slack for another day. Sigh. But what to do, it's past. Just waiting for the doom day to come. I told myself that I will definitely try harder the following semester. I hope I can do it. I know I can if I have the intention to do something. *fingers cross
Okay, what's so good after this whole exam thing was semester break. Hhhhooooorrraaaayy!! I'm going to Bangkok, Thailand with my family and weiyee. (will update more about my trip) Yesh yesh yesh! (it's actually one of a must do in 2013, although I didn't write down that I wanna visit Bangkok)

*I'VE PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! HALLELUJAH!

later-post 2013

I wanna do a close- up for 2013. Its meaningful. It sure it. 2013, the year I stepped my foot into college. It was an amazing feeling. I met new faces, mixed around with people. I became more and more playful and talkative. And, I know I've been mixing around with the correct group. That's the real me. Oh ya, I ate more good stuff during this year. I've been hanging out with my girls more often. I treasure those moments that we were able to be together. We tried to share out stories between each other during semester breaks. Of course, there will be ups and downs. That life, isn't? I failed my driving test twice. (okay, I'm so not proud of it) I add on several hours on practice but then I still can't pass my driving test. I cried when I failed (this is so embarassing) I tried to fail for my very first time. But, I'm so glad that my family and friends console me in the right way. I was so touched. I have problems (many, Wow!), but I tried to keep it to myself and I literally forget about what's the problem now. Plus, I found the way to keep myself in a good mood- do exercise. I ate healthier in 2013. (it kinda screwed up during December) Hmm, I gave up on somethings and I know that not everyone will be there for me when I have problems. I tried to solve myself. (but of course, the ppl that I will find is my sis. She solved most of my problems) I became tougher (I guess) I've changed (I can feel it) I've tried to be more talkative when I'm with a bigger group. I tried to talk more often so that I don't feel abandoned. (btw, I'm still in process) I know zhen shen is going to Taiwan to further his studies, but then I don't feel a single itch in me because I know everyone has their own dreams to pursue. Not like I gonna stop him. That's too dramatic. Hmm, I've ate popcorns whenever I'm in cinema for movies. I just gave excuse to myself. Oh ya, I countdown with my family on the last day of 2013. It was so cool because finally I get to see fireworks in front of my eyes. (the last time seeing fireworks was before I went to America, I countdown with weiyee, zhenshen and jinying) There's a different feeling when you get to countdown with your family and friends. Its just different. But, I enjoyed both. Thanks 2013!
