While waiting for mom

Burgers anyone? Life is so much better with burgers on hand.  You can have a mouthful of all the godness at once. These satisfy me. Sis, bro and I had burgers at KGB (aka killer gourmet burger) while my mom met her friends at Antipodean. You know how good it can be if it's named as the KILLER. It must have meant something, right? No? You must be wrong. This burger was recommended by my bestie, Huey yee and so I brought my sis and bro here.

My sis and I had beef burger while my bro had chicken burger (can't really remember what were those burger names, but trust me, those names were kinda cool) and cajun fries. I love the bun over here and the juiciness of the burger would've dirty your hand. But, it's okay to be dirty by those babies.

Yea, that's my bro over there sipping his fanta and had a few bites of his burger. Imagine a cool boy like him gave those burgers a thumbs up when I asked for his opinion. He will never lie to me.

I'm really serious when it comes to food. PLUS, this is not just food, it's a burger. I tried to calm myself down but I don't think I can handle with it. Forgive me, thank you.

One wallop and there went next- Coffea coffea. Sis brought the both of us there. It was just a few streets away from KGB. YOU MUST Walk there because you need to do so after having all those calories.

And so, we rewarded our effort of walking to coffea coffea with brownie and a glass of caramel smoothie. I was not brownie lover after all but the brownie here was too good to be true. There's nuts in it and I love the rich chocolaty texture. Just one bite, and you will fall in love with it. Trust me or else you will lose it. Think that my words were not convincing enough? Look at the picture then.

The Double Aug Celebration

This is such a late late post. I should've posted this last month (Exam sucks!). Oh well, my bro and kakak had their birthday in August. And so, let's make it a double celebration, I said! We had lunch with kakak at sushi zanmai as for her birthday celebration. There were so much fun and warmness we felt that day. We were discussing since when I became a big eater. And, the conclusion was, I am like this since young. I don't eat much on proper meal, but I do Munch a lot. That's the reason why I'm not a size 2 which is kinda sad thou.

We chit chatted till the food came and of course I got to dig into everyone's bowl. The ramen here was not quite satisfying as the taste was quite blend. My sis and I were clever enough to choose to have sushiS. We took as many as we can. Satisfaction till the last bite of our sushi. I remembered that my sis and I couldn't stop ourselves from taking those sushi from the roller board.

This can prove how much I love them. And, how I've made the right choice.

It's not the end yet! Each of us had our own desired sushi rolls just before we leave this place. I had soft crab ones and it was so good. (I licked my fingers to prove how good it was to all of them). We went our separate ways later on as my mom and sis wanted to grab their own stuff (as long it's not food, I'm okay to separate with them for a little while) And so, there's the two of us wandering around in the shopping mall to find a place to sit down. What's better than having a doughnut after a meal?Everyone needs a treat for having such a long period of walking and staring like an idiot in the shopping mall. We stepped into Dunkin Donut's and had of course, doughnuts.

Opps, I can't remember what flavoured doughnut I had. And, I didn't know that my tongue stick out when I was having doughnut with me. I don't know why I did that too. Oh well, that's me, I guess. My kakak offered me froyo which I was staring at the menu actually. And, yes yes yes! I had the froyo with fresh strawberry toppings. This was way better than the doughnuts over there.

Dinner was to celebrate my brother's birthday. He is an August baby too or shall I say he is a Leo (maybe Leo sounds more macho) Anyway, we picked him up from the tuition centre and had dinner at Renzendous Steak Garden. Yea, just like this. Not much of a comment on how the food tasted like. It was just not up to our taste. Sorry, taste bud problem.

OH, hey

Oh, hey! It's Us again. Got to bumped up with these girls again. I was not willling to go at first, but ying said I couldn't be lazier anymore. And so, I'm there having selfie with them. We were planning to eat out and it ended up having lunch at huey yee's house. Oh, fish (Huey yee's house always offers fishes, and that's what I love about going to her place)

We chit chatted and played around at her place for couple hours or so. Ying said that it's better to take photos on somewhere dark. So we both stood there, and the photos were like this. Conclusion: terrible!

I remembered playing piano while the the both of them were dancing around. But, so sorry as my piano skill was not that good. So i stopped playing on some verse and they stopped dancing too. And, when i continued they continued. You get what i mean, or just me?

Huey yee suggested to go to korean village. Car started and vrooom... We went to a Korean bakery shop. We took one round for what we wanted. I ended up with a cream puff. This cream puff was good compared to others that we had ordered. Ying and I caught our eye on the pecan pie, but it was not what we had expected. It tasted like soya. Not saying that we hate soya, just that, it supposed to be a PECAN PIE!

Had this ice because the name sounded so cool (and I've forgotten what's the name of this ice, so I don't think it's that cool right now) in the menu. But it's not as tasty as what we thought (other than the pineapple in there was sweet)

Anyways, we had a whole lots of carbs that day. But, it still not the end yet. We walked around as huey yee said she was craving for kimbap (korean sushi roll). We bumped into Sweet Chat again. It still wonderful as the time we came few months ago.

I guess I would've killed myself due to my laziness for not meeting them.

The ladies' chef

We are here again at Yee Ying's house. My sis and I drove (sis drove, not a good driver yet) there to her house for cooking time again. This released my endorphins!
Our menu for that day was Cordon Bleu Chicken as our main. Mashed potatoes with pickles and salad as for our sides. I shall now present our dessert- Hello, ice cream cookie sndwiches!! Its easy thou, just bake a whole lot of cookies and smash whatever ice cream into the middle, and bite that baby!
Again, we went to Heroes to get our ingredients. We were so confused where were those things places. And so, we grabbed potatoes here, and then went to the other side to grab chicken breast. The salad dressing was one big challenge (none of us knew where it was placed) But still, we found you. Phew! Frankly speaking, the three of us were so hungry as we haven't had our lunch because we thought of cooking by our own. And so, our eyes got caught up by those freshly made pizzas and sushis. It was so good! We nearly wanted to have a seat and start ordering food (that's way faster to wait for the cordon bleu chicken to be ready!) Still, nothing can stop us- the ladies' chef! Off we went back, after we got all our ingredients.

Preparation and cooking started from 3...2...1! Cooking was easy but you just gotta have the patience to do it.

No grinder? No worries, wooden spatula would help anyway! We are just serious as that!

When the over rang, we placed a toothpick to test whether it's ready for our tummy. And, the answer was no. I remembered the oven rang 3 times (1st time- 30 minutes, 2nd time 15 minutes, and the last 15 minutes) Like what?! 45 minutes for the chicken! Wait no more, im coming for you!

I insisted to to take a photo of me with the tiny little pickles and the chopping board. Aren't they cute? Everything small looks cute to me!

Finally, get to sit down and have our lunch after all the hustle and bustle.

Who said there's no space for a dessert like this? I've bake the cookies at my place, so we just have to smash the ice cream (we got the pomegrante ones) and inhaled this baby before watching TFIOS.

Picnic time!

It's picnic time. What a wonderful morning being with ying. I'm not sure where did i get this idea from. I just want to have some outdoor time (cause staying at home just ain't no fun, sometimes)

We both prepared and packed the food that we had suggested to each other and off we went. We went to the park by train and i didnt know that ying did not have a phone with her. So I tried to call her mom, her mom asked me to wait for her at the train station. And so, I waited, waited and waited. Walked around the train station trying to look for her. But, I saw no one. Then, I sat and waited. I've even thinking of opening the box of sandwiches that I've prepared while waiting for her. I went up and saw that there was a girl with black-red checkered clothe, I started smiling and then burst into laughters when I knew it was her (by looking at her legs. It's easy, because she is fair- pretty easy to identify)
We walked through the tunnels, shopping mall and then lastly we were in the park. It was our first time doing this. Plus, there were no one having picnics around. We were then quite panicked as we didnt thought of whether people are allowed to have picnics over there. Well, I can't care much. Food were brought, and our mood were so excited. We found a spot under a tree and started to opened up all our containers. i GUESS there's nothing to talk about our next move. It's picnic time!

Homemade tuna sandwiches was prepared by me while the rest were all prepared by ying. We both concluded that it was too much for the both of us. I love ying matched thoses potato chuncks with beans. (Yes, ying LOVES POTATOES A LOOOTT!)

Do you want some tuna sandwiches?
